Ban urban aerial mobility?

Ban urban aerial mobility?

Banning urban aerial mobility, or the use of flying vehicles such as drones or air taxis. Proponents of the ban argue that the technology is not yet mature enough to ensure safety for people and property on the ground, and that the noise pollution and energy consumption of these vehicles will harm the environment.

Points

"We can't cheat physics" Urban aerial mobility vehicles are energy-intensive, which could have a significant environmental impact. Despite electric aircrafts having the potential to be more energy-efficient than traditional aircraft, they still require significant amounts of energy to operate, particularly during takeoff and landing. This could lead to an increase in greenhouse gas emissions and contribute to climate change.
