It's easy to complain or worry about costs associated with the transition to renewables, but what are the costs if we do not act? The costs of not acting include significant economic losses due to more frequent and severe extreme weather events impacting infrastructure, food security, health, insurance, and environmental consequences like rising sea levels, biodiversity loss and water scarcity, ultimately leading to disruptions in livelihoods and increased costs.
If we are worried about emissions then why not change to Nuclear with no emissions. We cannot ignore the damage renewables do to the environment. Solar Panel Farms, Wind Turbines on every hill and in our oceans. Thousands of kms cleared for transmission lines this will also add to significant economic losses in the long run not to mention what it does to our beautiful landscapes.
